ABOUT
The Little Go-Hawk tournament has been host to great wrestling for over 50 years!
BACK FOR 2023
Due to tremendous athlete participation and the amazing growth of girls wrestling, the tournament has been split into two separate tournaments. GIRLS will go on Wednesday the 27th, and BOYS will go on Thursday the 28th. The GIRLS tournament is capped at 250 wrestlers, and the BOYS tournament is capped at 400 wrestlers.
We run in two gyms that are adjacent to each other using 9 mats.
NOTE: In the past, we had over 200 walk-ins. To ensure we are able to plan properly, start on time, and put out a great product for the competitors and fans, there are now NO WALK-INS.

WEIGH-IN
GIRLS - Weigh in from 2:00-2:45p on Wednesday, 12/27/23.
BOYS - Weigh in from 8:30-9:15a on Thursday, 12/28/23.
- Wrestlers shall weigh in singlet or competition clothing
- Wrestling begins as soon as the brackets are made.
- Ensure you turn in your weigh-in card at the scales else you will not be entered into the tournament.

NOTE: Wrestlers will be bumped weight classes or divisions if the bracket would otherwise be too small.
FORMAT
Bracketing:
8 person brackets where possible.
Wrestlebacks to 3rd, placing 8.
Period Lengths:
1-1-1 for all divisions except 7th-8th grade, which are 2-1-1.
Awards:
For PreK-2nd, all bracket participants will receive a medal and champions will receive a t-shirt.
For 3rd-8th, medals will be given to 1st-4th place finishers and champions will receive a t-shirt.
Will randomly draw for Nintendo Switch Lites!! (1 per 200 registrations)
OVERTIME
Junior High Overtime Rule:
- 1 minute neutral sudden victory
- 30 second tie breaker (top or bottom)
- Whoever scored first has choice
- If scoreless then disc flip
