Go-Hawks to be tested among many ranked teams

The Go-Hawk wrestlers will compete at the Battle of Waterloo on Friday and Saturday, December 14th and 15th.

The Battle of Waterloo (BOW) Wrestling Tournament is a two-day (December 14-15), 32 team tournament that brings in teams from 18 different counties outside of Black Hawk County. The event includes up to 830 wrestlers, coaches and cheerleaders. Four standard 8-team brackets wrestle Friday determining team's standing for the round-robin championship brackets on Saturday. This event is hosted by East and West High School.

The 2018 Battle of Waterloo Brackets are out! 32 Teams will Battle for Supremacy. Action starts at 9:00 a.m. for morning brackets this Friday, December 14 at Young Arena. The afternoon brackets will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14. The top four bracket placers will compete in Pool Play Saturday afternoon, December 15 beginning at 4:00 p.m. to determine the 2018 Battle of Waterloo Champion! The remaining teams will wrestle in Pool Play on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.
